Activities on Water
Boat trips
With so much water in Patagonia, boats are not only a way of life, but also a great way to experience this diverse area. Navigate across a lake to a glacier, into a fjord surrounded by forest or up a river to reach an unforgettable waterfall. Just don't forget your camera!

Argentina — Iguazu Falls, Bariloche, El Chalten, El Calafate, Ushuaia

Canyoning
This is a sport where you rapel and slide down waterfalls in the middle of the forest. It's an experience as thrilling as it is wet, and is a great way to feel at one with nature. These tours are offered in Chile's Lakes District, where there are numerous other water activities available.
Chile — Pucon, Puerto Varas (The Lakes District)

If you love the thrill of being right in the middle of nature, Contact Us and we'll set y ou up with some canyoning.
Cruises
Cruising is a great way to see parts of Patagonia which few people get to experience, that being the hidden fjords and glaciers along the Pacific coast. Take a 4-day "backpacker" cruise from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales, and/or enjoy a luxury glaciers cruise from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia.
Chile — Puerto Montt, Puerto Natales, Punta Arenas
Argentina — Ushuaia

If you like cruising through pristine waters, Contact Us and we'll get you onboard.
Hot Springs
Who doesn't enjoy soaking in a nice thermal bath after a long day of activities? Because of the active volcanic history of this area, Chile has numerous hot springs and spa resorts to satisfy your every need, from indoor and outdoor baths to body treatments, and of course great dining.
Chile — San Pedro de Atacama, Puerto Varas (Puyehue), Puyuhuapi (on the Carretera Austral)

If you enjoy thermal baths and spa treatments, Contact Us to get you into one of many Hot Springs resorts.
Kayaking
Kayaking is a wonderful sport, whether done solo or with friends. It puts you right down on the water, is great excercise, helps you reconnect with nature, and is magical in its ability to clear your mind of all your troubles. Whether you prefer fresh water or the sea, your options are many.
Chile — Pucon, Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas, Puerto Natales, Torres del Paine
Argentina — Bariloche, El Chalten, Ushuaia

Rafting
Whitewater rafting might appear extreme to some, but it's actually quite safe, and definitely exhilerating! Numerous rivers in Chile offer levels 3 to 5 rafting trips, many with glacier-fed ice blue waters. The Baker river in the south could be dammed up soon, so don't miss your chance!
Chile — Pucon, Puerto Varas, Futaleufu, Baker River

If you enjoy the thrill of whitewater rafting, Contact Us and let us set you up on some of the best rivers in the world.

Activities on Snow & Ice
Ice climbing / Ice trekking
Being right on top of a glacier with cramp-ons on your boots, the cold wind in your face and the crunching sound beneath your feet is an experience that is difficult to exress with words. Patagonia in both Chile and Argentina offer wonderful opportunities to be out on the ice.
Chile — Northern and Southern ice fields, Torres del Paine
Argentina — El Chalten, El Calafate

If you would like a tour with lots of ice, Contact Us and we'll put an active itinerary together for you.

Being in the southern hemisphere, many olympic ski teams from Europe and North America come to Patagonia to train during their off-season at one of many world-class resorts near Santiago and Bariloche. Wanna ski on a volcano? Come to Puerto Varas and ski the Osorno Volcano.
Chile — Santiago, Chillan, Pucon, Puerto Varas
Argentina — Bariloche

If downhill skiing is what you are looking for, Contact Us and we'll set you up on a Patagonian ski adventure.

The Osorno Volcano near Puerto Varas, Chile, is known as the "Mount Fuji of South America" because of it's nearly perfect cone shape. The only difference is that there are no crowds! And if you want to climb to the top of a smoking volcano, try the Villarica Volcano near Pucon.
Chile — Pucon, Puerto Varas
If reaching the top of an ancient volcano sounds like a challenge, Contact Us and we'll make it happen for you.
