Whitewater rafting might appear extreme to some, but it's actually quite safe, and definitely exhilerating! You will always be with a guide and all your equipment. Numerous rivers in Chile offer levels 3 to 5 rafting trips, many with glacier-fed ice blue waters. The Baker river in the south could be dammed up soon, so don't miss your chance!

Southern Chile and Argentina offer spectacular opportunities for fly-fishing in either pristine, glacier-fed rivers surrounded by volcanoes, small creeks in the pampas, or rushing rivers in the temperate rain forest. Rainbow and Brown trout are the most common, but you could also hook a Big Silver or King Salmon. Go fish!
